Pork and chicken hot plate


Short Description

One of the most delicious and tempting meals in menus of taverns and restaurants with traditional Bulgarian cuisine, are the specialties on hot plate. They are suitable both for lovers of meat cuisine and for vegetarians, because the plates contain equally well prepared kinds of meat and a variety of vegetables, including broccoli, peas, mushrooms, tomatoes, potatoes, onions, carrots, courgettes, aubergines, peppers.

Preparation method

Mix the mayonnaise, mustard, soy sauce, minced garlic cloves in a bowl. Spread this mixture over the sliced meat and place it in the refrigerator for an hour and a half. Pour oil on the hot plate and fry the meat. Add the chopped vegetables (except tomatoes) and leave them there for a while. When the ingredients grill only in fat (and there is no water), put the grated tomatoes. Cook it for about 5-10 min. Season with spices and remove from heat. Finally grate the cheese. Optionally, at the end of the cooking, you can pour 100 ml cooking whipped cream (but not cold from the fridge) and then bake for another 5 minutes.
